Our team of Business Development Managers across the country provides a best in class service and strengthens our relationships with new and existing mortgage brokers. As Sales Development Manager, you’ll manage, inspire and develop your team, helping them to meet broker needs and achieve individual and corporate objectives.

Leading from the front, you’ll provide regular coaching and 1-2-1 sessions to help your team grow their knowledge, develop their territory and maximise their performance. Championing our brand, compliance and regulatory standards, you’ll be familiar with CRM as a crucial tool to develop and monitor plans and identify new opportunities. You’ll challenge convention and drive change to improve processes and enhance the experience for mortgage brokers and their customers. Managing your team’s appointment levels, you’ll also define SLAs and make sure they’re achieved. Beyond the day-to-day, your role will involve impacting on the future direction of our products, broker proposition and broker sales team.

As well as an impressive track record of leading and evaluating high performing sales teams within financial services, you must have experience of building and developing strong and sustained relationships with intermediaries. Passionate about continually enhancing our brand, reputation and services, you should be willing to get hands-on, growing your network, visiting mortgage brokers and attending events. An excellent presenter, planner and analytical thinker, you’ll also need a UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel with occasional overnight stays.
