Badenoch & Clark are excited to be working towards the appointment of an Accounts Assistant within an ever-expanding company based out of Lewes. This is an ideal opportunity for you to demonstrate professionalism and composure within a role that has extensive capacities for growth.

You will be required to deliver timely and accurate reporting of accounting transactions and as such you must have the appropriate organisational and numeric skills in order to complete the work to an exemplary standard within the given time frame.

Key Accountabilities:
* Timely and accurate input of sales, purchase and nominal ledger transactions.
* Ensure that client invoices are prepared and supplier invoices and staff expense claims authorised in accordance with written policies and procedures.
* Bank and ledger account reconciliation .
* Ensure that client debtor letters are sent as appropriate and regular liaison with branch personnel thereon.
* Provide support and advice to staff by telephone and email.
* Inclusion within general office post and banking rotas.
* Occasional liaison with outside bodies including suppliers, departments and professional advisors.
* Work closely and in conjunction with other members of the finance team, in particular the Management Accounts Team with responsibility for the same offices.

* Be able to demonstrate hands-on experience of carrying out similar duties previously.
* Computer Literate - MS Office, Excel, standard accounting software.
* Ideally you will be studying towards ACCA/CIMA/AAT.
