Lloyds Banking Group is investing in the latest Cyber Security controls and Technology and we are seeking an experienced security professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the Cyber Security agenda. You'll work alongside an established security engineering team, providing security expertise within the Data Security domain.

You'll possess outstanding architectural, consultancy, engineering capabilities coupled with expert security knowledge in some or all of the following areas:
* Data Loss Prevention
* Secure file transfer
* Cryptography
* Data classification
* Email security and digital certificate
* SSH key management

You will be experienced at leading the definition, development and implementation of cyber data security controls to effectively manage risk to an organisations risk appetite. Additionally you'll be confident at representing your team, regularly addressing stakeholders within various IT programmes, business and governance committees.

To deliver all this we will ask you to lead the provision of Data Security SME advice, guide the delivery of initiatives by leading/facilitating discussions with key stakeholders including a Senior Cyber Security Leadership team.
The vacancy will give you the opportunity to support and deliver both project and business as usual activities

What we'll need from you:
* A broad business and Cyber Security understanding to support effective management and mitigation of risks
* Experience of working collaboratively with other division across a large organisation to deliver solutions and advice that are complete, operable, conforms to business processes and meets the business needs to an agreed quality of service.
* The provision of well-informed Security Engineering advice, typically on more than one topic, taking steps to ensure that it is properly understood and appropriately exploited, to enhance the effectiveness of significant activities.
* Comfortable working with minimal levels of supervisor for complex tasks and no supervision for routine aspects of the role.
* A comprehensive understanding of Security Engineering and an in-depth knowledge of domain specific security solutions.
* The ability to lead the definition of domain specific security controls which contribute to achieving appropriate risk levels in compliance with the organisations risk appetite.
* The ability to manage senior business stakeholders and establish strong engagement to ensure the delivery of projects or business initiatives aligning to longer term Cyber security strategic roadmaps.
