Location: Manchester (Salford Quays) or Staines.

Salary: £40k-55k, experience dependent.

To that end the Hospital Management team actively works with hospitals to optimise services provided, improve quality and patient experience, and maximise value for our members.

The role

You will play a key role in managing contracts and performance of a number of Bupa's hospital providers. Your portfolio's total spend will be circa £20m pa. You will be accountable for developing effective provider relationships, negotiating robust contracts, ensuring contract compliance, ensuring quality of services provided and maintaining effective cost control for the hospitals they manage. You will play a crucial role in the delivery of healthcare reform initiatives that impact on your portfolio.

Who we're looking for

  • Analytical and commercial. Comfortable working with large data sets to identify trends, issues and opportunities.
  • Superior negotiation experience - Significant experience of negotiating contracts with third parties.
  • Strong team player, focussed on delivering own objectives while enabling / supporting others to deliver theirs.
  • Energetic, positive attitude to work, collaborative approach.
