Job Description

Thanks to the ongoing success of the current service, we are looking to expand our team of dedicated support workers in Woking who are currently supporting 14 individuals in supported living and 5 individuals in shared supported living with a learning disability.

We are currently offering both full time and part time positions for the Woking service. Shifts are on a rota basis, with an aim for our support workers to have every other weekend off. Sleep-ins may be required - £29.55 is paid for each sleep in.

In joining this enthusiastic team, you will be taking on an interesting role that offers real personal satisfaction, knowing that you really are making a difference in someone`s life. Your main role will be supporting those within the service, helping them live as independently as possible - with each individual needing support in different areas, no two days will ever be the same. Working as a team, you will be responsible for updating their support plan and ensuring it is centred on their needs and aspirations. Other day to day tasks will include supporting the people we support financially, with personal care and general living support.

The people we support are very active and thoroughly enjoy going out into the local community and going on day trips. Your role will be to support the people within the service to do what they want to do in their local community, encouraging them to try new things and doing the things they really love.

As a support worker, all you`ll need to have is a positive attitude and a desire to improve the lives of those with a learning disability. If you support the people we support, we will support you with award winning training and progression opportunities throughout your career with us.

If this sounds like you, we`d love to hear from you!
