Location: Bristol City Centre
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays , pension with up to 8% contribution, flexible hours, parking and many more

What will you be doing?

An established company based in central Bristol are looking for a Systems engineer with a detailed understanding of aircraft landing gear systems and/or equipment to join their talented team. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of the ARP4754A systems design process.

Key Accountability's:

*Supporting the client in the completion of equipment and system level modifications.
*Working to resolve in service issues of civil aircraft.
*Preparation and/or checking of documentation for the equipment/system design process.

Key skills (not all skills are required):

*Candidates should be able to demonstrate specific experience in the Systems design process (ARP4754A) along with one or more of the following areas:
*New equipment/system design and development for civil aircraft programmes
*Braking and steering control systems and equipment
*Extension and retraction system and equipment
*Wheels, tyres and brakes equipment
*Monitoring systems
*Landing gear structures
*Familiarity with typical electro-mechanical / hydro-mechanical components used in Landing Gear Systems and Structures.
*Experience working to CS-23/-25 requirements.
*Familiarity with aerospace environmental requirements (DO160).
*Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
*Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.
*Familiarity with tools such as DOORS would be advantageous but not essential.
