What we’re looking for:

This is a field-based position and the successful candidate will be home-based and travel as necessary. The successful candidate is expected to live within reasonable commuting distance of Greater London, as the majority of customers are based in that area. Please note, the successful candidate will be required to attend our Belfast office from time to time.

The Solutions Architect will act in a field sales engineering capacity as the primary technical resource for WhiteHat Security’s field sales force. Key responsibilities are actively driving the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the field sales force as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The Solutions Architect must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. The Solutions Architect will identify technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process, and will establish and maintain strong relationships with customers.

What you’ll be doing:

•Presenting WhiteHat business and technical benefits of our services to prospects, partners and customers.

•Providing training for sales and technical teams of distribution and resale partners.

•Driving, assisting, and supporting the Proof of Concept process with prospects, partners and customers.

•Delivering webinars, live presentations, and seminars.

•Interacting with other key departments including Customer Support, Development, Marketing and Product Management teams to provide input and customer feedback as well as to maintain customer and prospect relationships.

•Advising on technical solutions for systems integration for multiple platforms.

•Acting as a subject matter expert in various technology domains using expertise in technical security and information risk management.

•Using professional concepts to develop resolution to critical issues and different design matters.

•Serving as a technical advisor to the field sales force.

What we require for the role:

•Significant experience in technical sales or relevant customer-facing experience in the technology domain. We would expect the successful candidate to have at least 5 years experience but will consider applicants with less experience if they meet all the other requirements and are able to demonstrate they have the required experience.

•Strong customer facing and relationship building skills.

•Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting.

•Candidate must have experience with penetration testing for applications.

•Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation and writing skills.

•Strong track record with a broad set of industry technologies and services including enterprise applications, operating systems, storage, security, enterprise systems management, networking and business continuity.

•Ability to travel 35-40% of the time, mostly within the UK but also to continental Europe and once or twice per year to WhiteHat’s headquarters in the U.S.

•University degree of 2:1 or above (or equivalent) required.
