Management Consultant – Transportation & Infrastructure

The role will involve:

Providing technical, advisory and analytical support to a wide range of public and private sector clientsWorking independently and as part of a wider team on major project and analysis deliveryDelivery of strategic development, business case and risk appraisal, cost modelling, cost forecasting, demand revenue modelling and economic analysis on a vast range of major infrastructure projectsAttending client meetings, managing timelines and preparation in the presentation of workPreparation of reports, analysis and models as needed by projectsWorking independently and using your own initiativeGenerating and sharing ideas, presenting solutions and staying on top of market trends

To be considered:

You will have a degree in a relevant discipline (economics, maths, business management or similar)A post-graduate qualification like an MBA / MSc in related subject would be a significant advantageExperience of working on and ideally leading on major transport / infrastructure projects would be a significant advantage (M25 / major highways projects, London Olympics, High Speed Rail, Light Rail, Toll Roads, Cross Rail, Thameslink, London Underground, London Overground, utilities and energy projects or aviation)Membership of an industry professional body (IHT / ILT or equivalent would be an advantage)Demonstrable experience in an analytical position / working with analytical frameworks and analysisAbility to work on a variety of projects simultaneously with effective time management skillsA thirst for solving problems and driving solutions forwardExperience in the transportation and/or infrastructure sector (rail, toll roads, highways, aviation, social infrastructure or maritime/ports and waterways)A keen eye for trends, technologies and future applications of solutions to challengesBe experienced in the development of various business models I.E. Demand / Revenue forecasting, feasibility studies, CAPEX / OPEX, cost modelling / revenue modelling and related analysisTeam mentoring and management experience and significant commitment to excellence in delivery and leading from the front
