Purpose of the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join this rapidly growing Private Equity backed business based in near Watford and St Albans. The role will take responsibility for the day to day management of core trading systems to ensure the customer experience is best in class. Analysing pricing information for customers and suppliers to ensure gross profits are aligned with business financial targets and the order to pay process is efficient. This role will be a key player to ensure that the business processes continue to develop and enable continued commercial success within a fast moving market. The role will work closely with the Senior Management team and give excellent exposure to future progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leading the information management agenda in the development and delivery of our policies, objectives and KPIs.
2. Ensuring a right first time execution of all core customer facing processes related to pricing on order portals and in-house systems, ensuring an absence of exceptions arising from data mismatches and thereby achieving a smooth order to pay process.
3. Creating and maintaining analytical reports for Customers and Senior Management.
4. Making regular appraisals of customer account profitability and informing the team to ensure a pro-active data driven approach to pricing.
5. Supporting Customer Account Managers in the negotiation and implementation of new prices ensuring that margins are in line with financial targets.
6. Responding to ad hoc requests to add or revise product data on Customer Web Portals
7. Providing some overlap cover to the IT Manager with regard to day-to-day troubleshooting of in-house systems and ensuring that our Sales Order Processing data is synchronised with the corresponding data on multiple customer internet based Order Portals.
