Senior .NET Developer The Application Delivery Centre based in Birmingham requires Senior .NET Developers to expand its development capability.

The Senior Developer will cover the following aspects in the role:-
* Analysing functional docs and High Level design docs
* Producing LLD
* Code Implementation
* Unit and Integration testing
* Fixing defects

The successful applicant may also be required to assist with system enhancements and developments on other services within the Wales Application Delivery Centre.

Key Activities of the role will include:-
* Designs and codes software in line with quality standards
* Produces and executes unit tests
* Identifies and fixes bugs within own code
* Support members of the team
* Seeks and provides appropriate guidance in a realistic and reasonable manner
* Foster good working relationships with other CGI teams.
* Understand / adhere to quality / security standards and processes applicable to role.
* Leading of team meetings, scrums or equivalent.
* Manage a team of resource reporting to a Development Manager.

Essential Skills Required:-
.NET Technologies such as C#.NET / VB.NET / ASP.NET
Windows Operating Systems
Analytical / Problem solving
Managing detailed technical issues
Motivated / determined / pro-active

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:-
SQL Server with Transact-SQL, VB5/6, MS Access / Excel / Word VBA

Other Information:-
Security Clearance: SC Cleared required or the ability to be SC cleared

This is a Birmingham based role. Members who will require expenses to work from the Birmingham office should not apply.

Note that travel will be required as part of this role. Applicants should advise their ability to work from other locations for extended periods. In this situation company expenses policy will apply and expenses will be paid.
