C# Senior Systems Developer - ASP.NET, MVC, Web API.

Salary: £40k-46k + full funding for Microsoft certifications + 10% pension + 25 days holiday.

C# Senior Systems Developer x2 with demonstrable full stack development experience, required to take up this exciting role in a 'new projects' team with a long established & highly successful organisation based near Bury St Edmunds as they continue to replace their Legacy systems with more modern systems based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) whilst also creating a series of portals/apps focused on the needs of their business community.

Joining an IT team of 35+ & specifically within this new team focusing on greenfield development, you can look forward to a challenging & varied role covering the full software development life cycle. Key technologies covered in the role will include; C#, ASP.NET, MVC 4/5, WCF, Web API, Entity Framework, T-SQL/SQL Server, SSRS (to a lesser extent) & Visual Studio Team Services. Whilst no candidate would be expected to tick every box, a good range of knowledge across these would be anticipated with any previous experience of the mobile space also adding value to your application. Demonstrable experience with MVC whilst advantageous is not a pre-requisite as my client is happy to use your existing WebForms/WinForms skills with a view to giving you an MVC career & training track. Of key importance is a first class attitude, an ability to communicate well with all levels of staff across the business, including those outside of IT, & ideally a willingness to mentor less experienced developers &/or take a lead on projects.

With my client willing to fully support employees in their pursuit of relevant Microsoft accreditations & with increasing opportunities for career progression as the organisation continues to grow, this really could represent a brilliant career move for the right person. Additional benefits include 25 days holiday, an employer pension contribution of 10% if the employee puts in 5% & a range of other salary sacrifice options.
