Technical Sales Engineer

£20,000 - £25,000 + Bonus + Car allowance + Phone + Laptop

Do you have Technical or sales experience within the IT Software or Hardware industry looking for a role home where you will be given the responsibility to excel within the business?

The person
  • Candidate should have a degree in either IT or Marketing/Business Studies which has included digital marketing or possibly HTML development
  • The nature of the business means the candidate must have a basic understanding of IT infrastructures, databases and integration
  • The candidate will be responsible for email campaigns which we use extensively for lead generation. Experience with email marketing is a pre-requisite

The tasks carried include:

•Supporting new and existing installations of Inventory Control

•Create and maintain contact databases and administer strong CRM to cultivate relationships.

•Create supporting marketing materials such as data sheets for our products

•Direct and manage email marketing campaigns (1-2 times per month). 

•Creating suitable marketing packs for customer quotation requests (addition of datasheets, technical information or alternatives product options/ variations).

•Identifying vertical markets to target and creating campaigns

•Cold calling clients to establish sales leads

•Organising managing projects (stock levels, timely delivery, tracking etc)

•Negotiating (price, quantity, warranty, after sales service levels, support).

•Managing software and hardware maintenance contracts

•Expand client usage of products and services across entire groups.

•Create personalised mail shots to create bespoke quotations and generate sales leads.

•Lead sourcing through trade media (Linkedin) and personal contacts.
