Due to an increase in workload our client are seeking to strengthen their Operational team with an additional Project Manager to work in the Central London / M25 region.

Key Essentials:

* As Project Manager you will be required to supervise various Live Fibre Framework Projects within the Telecoms Industry including Civils, Fibre Splicing, Testing and Installation to Customer Connections and Building Networks

* Your role will involve attending Operational Meetings, Progress Reviews as well as Contract Handover

* You will be required to efficiently Plan and Manage all Resources on site to ensure that Projects are run within allocated budgets and time-scales whilst complying with company procedures and client specifications. This will include completing staff / labour time sheets and Plant & Transport sheets

* Your role will involve conducting regular Site Health & Safety checks on staff and sub-contractors as well as carrying out Site Safety Briefings and Toolbox talks

* You will be required to work closely with the Estimator in identifying cost effective solutions to new projects and document this whilst also providing technical support for feasibility studies and bids

* Your role will involve liaising with the Procurement department to ensure that Materials are ordered / delivered on time as well as having Control and Management of internal and client stores

* You will be required to ensure that Method Statements, Site Specific Risk Assessments and RAMS are carried out. You will have ultimate ownership of Projects and will need to ensure that Contract administration is carried out with the Contract Terms & Conditions and the Company Integrated Management System (IMS)

Requirements:

* As Project Manager it is essential that you are experienced in the management of Civils, Fibre Optic installation, splicing and commissioning works on Live Networks

* You should be qualified with NRSWA Supervisors and Professional Health & Safety accreditation

* The role will involve occasionally working unsociable hours so you will need to be flexible

* You will need to have good Communication, Time Management and Organisational Skills

* You should be I.T literate in Microsoft Office packages and hold a full valid driving licence

This is an excellent position that offers a salary of up to £55k + Package
