IT Project Manager - Luton - Permanent - £50,000 plus benefits

Our client are a leading London Airport and they are expanding rapidly whilst undertaking a number of Digital Transformation projects.

They need an IT Project Manager certified in Prince 2 that will provide focus and leadership for the delivery of projects to the organisation around data and digital transformation.

Working with their senior management team, passenger groups and business partners, the successful candidate will be tasked to first map existing data sources, interfaces, flows and work processes, document critical data stores (inputs) and capture current and future requirements of all stakeholders (outputs).

2. Using this information, and working alongside the senior IT team, they will identify the business requirements and manage the individual projects to implement a central data warehouse solution with associated business intelligence architecture, providing the business with core data systems which will have the capacity to fulfil current and future requirements.
3. The successful applicant will further be the key driving force to ensure the delivery of interfaces between existing and new data processing systems, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a timely and reliable deployment.
4. A portfolio of projects will be developed over the next 1-3 years, which will deliver up-to-date digital data services to the airport and its passengers. This will include projects around Data Collection & Synchronisation, Business Reporting Tools, Operational Performance Measurement, Commercial Revenue Generation and improvements to the Passenger Experience.
5. The scope of this role will cover investigation, evaluation, procurement, documentation, project management, stakeholder engagement, mentoring and transition of new systems to production.

A solid background in Business Analysis is also a prerequisite for this role.

13. Previous Project Management experience in the Digital Arena using a number of methods and approaches.
14. Experience working with product manufacturers, vendors and resellers for procurement tenders.
15. Formal Project management qualification required.
16. Formal database / data warehouse administration experience required.
