Your role will be integral to supporting development solutions that are modular, scalable, extendable and portable.

We are expanding fast and need quality Application Support Analysts to match our ambition to become market leader in this competitive sector.

We are a Fast Growing Technology Company specialising in sportsbook and trading solutions.

The role will include:

·Working as part of a team on shift rotation, early, late and over night shifts

·The ability to support a given application or applications, primarily related to online gaming

·Limited computer programming and some system administration skills

·Ability to analyse a problem, diagnose it and find its root cause

·The ability to support database systems

·The ability to debug API calls before handing over to developers

·Working closely with the Service Desk, making a diagnosis and then either creating a fix or liaising with the development teams to ensure the issue is resolved and the root cause and resolution documented and understood by the Service Desk

·Integral to the requirements scoping and estimation process which is facilitated by liaising with the customer, during the SDLC, to identify their needs

·Working closely with the product team to ensure detailed technical knowledge of the core products/s

·Ownership of development bugs (pre-Go Live) and production defects (post-Go Live)

·Facilitator of the knowledge transfer process from the project team/s to the Service Desk

·Technical point of escalation (Level 2) for the Service Desk

·Responsible for monitoring and maintaining test environments

·Will take responsibility for releases when required and work closely with the Release and Deployment Manager to ensure deployments are successful

Essential Requirements:

·First class communication skills

·Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills - able to to learn new technical skills quickly

·In-depth understanding of operations systems, specifically Linux and UNIX.

·Good understanding of SQL and database management systems

·Knowledge of a scripting language - Bash, Python, Perl, etc

·Fundamental understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting

·Understanding of feed-based systems which utilise XML messaging and/or web services

·Professional ownership of issues

·Extensive production support experience to ensure maximum uptime and stability

Desirable Requirements:

·Industry experience in sports betting and/or financial technology

·Some development experience (preferably Java)

·Previous experience of working for an online gaming company

·Working in agile/scrum environment

·Experience of working with Jira/Confluence/Test Rail

5 x Early 7.30AM - 5PM

3 days off

5 x Late 1.00PM - 10.30PM

3 days off

5 x Night 10.30PM - 8.00AM

4 days off
