Web Analytics Manager

MBN's client a leading Web Analytics Consultancy are in search for a permanent Web Analytics Technology Manager to help grow the business.

It would suit an analyst with experience of implementing top-end web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Webtrends or advanced Google Analytics.

Their projects range from simple tag remediation and ad hoc reporting, to fully-integrated analytics

implementations (including DMPs and marketing automation platforms).

The role will be based in London, but require travel to various client sites around the country when needed.

Responsibilities

Producing a marketing analytics strategy and roadmap for clients

Running workshops to gather business and technical requirements

Auditing client's sites and reports from a web analytics point of view, and producing gap analyses

Creating business solution designs for web analytics implementation, both for the website and for

mobile apps

Implementing new web analytics solutions, typically Adobe Analytics, Webtrends Analytics, Google

Writing tagging guides, Delivering tags through a Tag Management System, typically Google Tag Manager, Adobe DTM or Tealium IQ

Setting up profiles and custom reports

Technical projects. Working in a project environment to implement web analytics solutions for their

clients' websites.

Coaching and mentoring junior members of staff to help them increase their

knowledge and develop as web analysts. Ensuring you all reach your productivity targets.

Pipeline management. Managing your current workload to optimise the time and resource you

have available. Identifying new opportunities within your existing client base for future work.

Working with clients to produce a vision and roadmap for the future.

Requirements:

At least 2 years technical experience implementing Adobe Analytics (note: this is essential - you

must have experience of writing tagging guides)

Experience in at least one tag management system (e.g. GTM, DTM or Tealium IQ) and designing

data layers

Knowledge of JavaScript at an intermediate level, would be advantageous

Experience of other analytics tools (R, Google Big Query, SAS, Tableau) is a bonus
