What are the responsibilities of the Senior UX Designer?

We are looking for a talented UX Designer to work on our exciting range of world-renowned products used by students around the globe. As Senior UX Designer, your remit will be to bring a considered, compelling, strategic and unified approach to the design of our user experience across the entire breadth of our English Language Teaching (ELT) products. This will include web, apps, mobile and online learning platforms as well as traditional print design.

Working with the Design Director and other key stakeholders, you will collaborate on user experience planning to create the best possible journeys and experiences for our customers across digital and print design. You will work in an agile and efficient way with responsibility for the development of the full UX design life cycle, incorporating input from digital and technology teams.

What skills do I need to have to become a Senior UX Designer?

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of applying user-centred design methodologies to a full spectrum of product delivery both on and offline. You will have excellent experience of working through a user-centred design approach. It is essential that you understand user interaction in all its contexts and formats and with experience of digital educational content an advantage. An understanding of the capabilities of html5, JavaScript and CSS3 is necessary. You will strive for innovation, taking ownership and responsibility whilst working collaboratively, able to make fast and effective decisions.
