An opportunity has arisenfor a Senior Consultant to join a fantastic, well established Tech Firm in Hampshire. The existingteam has an extensive history and a growing reputation for video and image processing for a wide range of exciting applications in military, industrial and transport sectors (to name a few). In addition to this the team is extensively involved in developing technologies for unmanned systems. The role will involve the development of new technologies to meet demanding customer requirements across a wide range of markets.

Due to some of the high profile government/militaryprojects you may be occasionallyinvolvedwith, you must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC), so will be either a British National or have lived here permanently for at least 5 years with no criminal record. Other client sectors will be across areas like Automotive and Media with some world recognisedcompanies.

This is not a consultancyrole as such, there may be very occasional travel, but it is 37.5 hours a week based out of the Hampshire offices.


- Understanding of customer requirements and development of novel solutions
- Development of vision processing algorithm
- Technical leadership on a wide range of projects in vision processing
- Writing of white papers and technical reports
- Development of new business opportunities and funding sources.


- PhD in Computer Vision or closely related area of research.

Essential knowledge and experience

- Strong mathematical foundation and experience in developing vision processing algorithms
- Proven track record in novelcomputer vision research including publications in refereed journals
- Software development experience using C, C++ and/or Python
- Experience in leading a teams or projects.

Desirable knowledge and experience

- Experience of 3D vision systems
- Machine learning
- Knowledge of other sensor systems
