The Digital team at Eaglemoss operates over 100 digital properties globally with new products being launched regularly.
Eaglemoss is undergoing an exciting phase of digital transformation being driven by our desire to meet our customers' rapidly changing needs and behaviours in an international environment and to fast track business growth with an agile digital team.

Eaglemoss is looking for a full-stack web developer to manage multiple development requirements and projects, working alongside the Head of digital, VP of Ecommerce & Marketing, web designer, other team members and external partners.

Summary:
The ideal energetic, enthusiastic and motivated candidate will be responsible for both front-end and back-end web development functions across fast growing digital requirements. The candidate is a generalist who enjoys challenges, variety and is commercially-minded to align with business requirements. You'll be working in a fun, fast-paced and informal environment often working to deadlines & fast turnarounds.

Responsibilities:

- - Develop solutions that are high quality, scalable, reliable, and reusable: Write well designed, robust, efficient code using best development practices and software
- - Create website templates (layout/user interface), customised CMS and new features in line with business requirements across Subscription, ecommerce and editorial web properties.
- - Optimize applications for performance, speed, and/or various operating devices
- - Integrate Data from various back-end, external and internal databases: build Eaglemoss Data strategy.
- - Ensure data's integrity and security (including API development)
- - Implement Development processes and roadmap (new development VS bug fixes) per Business Units
- - Track and fix back-end related bugs
- - Create and maintain software documentation
- - Cooperate with external developers, and web designer(s) to match Eaglemoss brand guidelines and User Interfaces across our various digital properties.
- - Collaborate with Project manager and Head of Digital to scope programming tasks, prioritise work load, allocate tasks with external partners and align execution.
- - Investigate technologies that can be leveraged to introduce new innovations in meeting business and customer goals

What we are looking for:

- - At least 5 years working in software development
- - Proficient understanding of how web application work: Strong coding skills are a must along with a good grasp of key concepts like responsive design, API, Databases, site architecture, SEO and UI/UX.
- - Proficiency in coding- across various languages: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, ASP, SQL
- - Proficient understanding (or fluent) in how to interact with APIs and the external world
- - Strong web design understanding - responsive, frameworks, animation, Foundation, Bootstrap (working alongside web designer)
- - Understanding of SEO and web analytics - Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.
- - Results oriented and able to complete tasks on deadline with minimum supervision
- - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
- - You are passionate about creating world-class web experiences for our customers and will work hard to achieve this.
- - You take pride in writing clean, quality code, but can balance this with business practicality
- - You are organised to implement simple, agile methodologies and processes to facilitate execution and documentation.
- - You hold a point of view and aren't afraid of challenging assumptions but are productive for the broader team
- - You are able to learn quickly and effectively apply new knowledge, demonstrating the desire to stay in touch with emerging technologies
- - Able to effectively present information to executive management, staff, and other outside agencies, as needed
