Role: Traffic Engineer

Location: Manchester

Salary: £27.500 - £35.000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious RoSPA qualified Traffic Engineer within a market leading multi-disciplinary consultancy.

Your experience will include:

  • HNC or Degree in Traffic, Transport, Civil Engineering or equivalent related discipline
  • Able to engage effectively with staff at all levels and with different technical understanding
  • Experience in undertaking traffic, transport or civil engineering and infrastructure projects
  • Strong I.T skills including Autocad, Keysigns and Keylines
  • Knowledge of LinSig, PICADY and SATURN
  • Budget monitoring, change management and fee negotiation
  • Experience of managing public consultations

Job Specification:

  • Undertaking traffic engineering designs for traffic improvement schemes including residents parking, traffic management and traffic calming
  • Design of traffic signs and road markings
  • Processing Traffic Regulation Orders
  • Review of transport modelling
  • Feasibility and design of transport solutions
  • Conceptual highway designs and commenting on strategies
