Located in Central London, there is an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Building Surveyor with strong project skills to assist in the running of Commercial and Industrial projects in and around the capital. This role is ideal for an Experienced Building Surveyor either looking to move away from the corporate grind or assist in the growth of an already successful Private Practice.
A small to medium sized Central London private practice with a successful history in delivering projects throughout London and sometimes further afield. Offering a broad range of both Private and Public Sector Commercial projects, this practice has experienced strong growth and competes well with larger competitors.
They have struck the perfect balance between a hard working, yet relaxed and sociable environment and their staff enjoy extensive freedom given to them to carry out their work without overbearing supervision, whilst also being given support wherever necessary.
The successful Experienced Building Surveyor will have responsibilities in running their own projects and carrying out contract administration duties whilst also being seen as a mentor for younger members of the team. Duties will include;
- Seeing projects from inception through to completion
- Contract Administration
- Delivering tenders and tender analysis
- Design work where necessary
- Act as a mentor for more junior members of the team
- Assist in the development of APC candidates
The Successful Building Surveyor
This is a role ideal for an Experienced Building Surveyor with commercial experience seeking a less corporate London based position in a company where there progression opportunities are uncapped.
- 5+ years Private Practice/ Consultancy Building Surveying experience
- MRICS preferable
- MSc/BSc in Building Surveying
- Experience in running projects
- Committed to career progression
- Strong communication skills
- Be self-motivated, ambitious and organised
- Up to £60,000 pa
