My client, an interior fit out and refurbishment contractor based in central London, are looking for an experienced Project Manager for a permanent role.
The company has over 20 years' experience specialising in joinery as well as commercial and residential fit out and refurbishment, and also take on one-off special projects including auditoria, sporting venues and ecclesiastical buildings. They receive a large amount of repeat business and have an excellent reputation in the industry. They are looking to expand their management team due to ongoing growth and increased workload, and need an experienced Project Manager who will help them to continue that growth by working to the same standards.
The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of projects up to the value of £7 million, working with the Foreman on site to keep the project on time and within budget. You will programme the work to be carried out, monitor the financial side of the project, report to senior management and client representatives, and deal with day to day issues as required.
Applicants for the role of Project Manager must have a joinery background and proven experience of managing fit out and refurbishment projects. You must be able to manage tradesmen on site supported by a Foreman, and must be able to complete accurate reports for senior management. You should hold SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid, and a project management qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
