Michael Taylor Search are seeking Mechanical project Managers for a leading M&E contractor based in the city. The business turnover circa £80 Million in London and the South East with an enviable client base. 
As Project Manager you will be responsible for: 
  • Pre Construction Activities (Management of procurement, up front engineering, design amendments and management of design consultants)
  • Setting up site deliverables
  • Coordination of Mechanical, HVAC and Public Health packages
  • Management of Engineering and Site Management teams
  • Client progress meetings and day to day liaison
  • Overall commercial responsibility of projects (QS will be allocated to the projects) 
  • Management of project program
  • Addressing technical issues 
  • Management of H&S processes and associated paperwork
  • Other associated Project Management duties
What we are looking for: 
  • Experience managing major commercial (New Build and Fit out Schemes from cradle to grave)
  • HNC / HND in Building Services Engineering or proven track record in management and ideally from a trade background (Pipe-fitter / Welder / Plumbing)
  • Hunger and desire to deliver schemes on time and in budget
  • Quick thinking, with the ability to adapt and make decisions
  • Strong leadership qualities
