Contract Manager - FM Provider - Hertfordshire/Home based - up to 55k+excellent package

One of the up and coming names in the FM industry are currently looking to recruit a Contract Manager to look after a recently acquired brand new national contract.

The role will be home based covering around 24 sites nationwide - however the main sites will be based in the Hertfordshire and London area.

The majority of time will be spent there with regular visits to the satellite sites in the regions.

The nature of the sites is commercial buildings and the main focus of the contract is M&E hard services but there is also the capability in the future to manage the soft services also.

The package on offer includes:

  • Salary - up to 55K

  • Travel paid where necessary

The main duties of the role are as follows:

  • Being involved in mobilising new contracts
  • Manage all maintenance staff across the various sites on the contract.
  • Manage agreed KPI and SLA's.
  • Responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on the contract.
  • Responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on all sites.
  • Recruitment of any new staff required.
  • Responsible for the development of all staff, which will include annual appraisals.
  • Manage staff absenteeism and be responsible for disciplinary issues within site team.
  • Management of client relationship on a daily basis.
  • Management of all reports.
  • Manage any additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue.

Applicants for this role must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Ideally qualified in engineering discipline; C&G, HNC, HND or higher.
  • Strong technical engineering understanding.
  • Previous experience of mobilising new contracts.
  • Previous experience of managing national contracts.
  • Previous experience of managing large engineering teams.
  • Soft services experience.
  • Experience of service delivery in high profile commercial buildings.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload.
  • Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
