We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a service desk controller to join a very fast paced Engineering business based in Rayne in Braintree.
The Service desk is the primary point of contact with the customer and the successful candidate will need to ensure service implementation is delivered timely and accurately.
You will track order progression, communicate progress, and coordinate installation for flawless execution in the highest quality manner.
Duties will include;The Service desk is the primary point of contact with the customer and the successful candidate will need to ensure service implementation is delivered timely and accurately. Logging faults and despatching engineersProcessing orders and organising / processing the necessary partsProviding quotes to customersCompletion of processes to close and invoice jobs
To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate will need to have the following: .Previous customer service experience in an office setting essential.Proficient computer skills – Word – Excel – Outlook .Excellent written and verbal communications skills .Ability to influence and impact the listener .Works well with minimal supervision .Strong time management and work prioritization .Ability to work in fast-paced environment .Enjoy working in a sometimes pressurised environment
Own transport is essential due to location.
The working hours for this position will be Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
In return the client is offering a very attractive basic salary, which is negotiable depending on level of experience, free on site parking and 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
