THE ROLE

I am now seeking an experienced ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR / COST CONSULTANT who has worked specifically on residential, leisure, education and commercial projects to join my client in their BRISTOL office.

THE CLIENT

My client is a large firm of multi disciplinary construction consultants providing cost management, project management and other services in the construction industry to a wide range of UK clients.

This division is working on a good range of high value projects for residential, higher education, commercial and leisure buildings.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is MRICS qualified with experience gained with another firm of consultants.

You should be able to lead projects and take up a client facing role.

You should have had some experience in the supervision of others and participate in APC training.

You will need to have good pre contract and post contract experience. Experience of all cost planning and estimating plus production of feasibility studies and estimates from minimal design information through to detailed cost plans.

You will also do preparation of tender documentation and you will deal with both clients and other consultants.

You will monitor the costs of projects and their progress in relation to the programme.

You will work according to the agreed technical approach and to the required technical quality standards and procedures.

You must have extensive experience of working within a PQS firm and have experience of leading projects in a client facing role.

Salary in the region of £45000 to £60000 per annum plus car allowance, pension contribution, health insurance etc.
