Finishing Manager - Residential

We are recruiting for an experienced Internal Finishing Manager.

This role is for one of London's most successful high end residential developers who place a strong emphasis on performance and the delivery of high end residential developments. With long term projects that are generally riverside and consist of bespoke design as well as leisure and commercial elements, this is an exciting company to join.

The Project is a 6 year multi-phase development with the current phase consisting of over 200 units and commercial spaces such as a 5* hotel and a state of the art leisure facility.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic finishing managers to take charge of the internal fit out, who must come from a trade or background and have strong experience working on internal fit out.

Role

  • Carrying out snag reports.
  • Dealing with other stake holders involved in the development
  • Dealing with the handover to the client.

Duties:

  • Manage a team of Site Supervisors/Operatives/Sub-contractors to ensure compliance and standards across the division.
  • Manage the risk to the organisation through contractual awareness of main contractor terms and conditions.
  • Lead the team by example, promoting values and development opportunities.
  • To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.
  • To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
  • Ensure project is on track according to original project plans.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the site and all employees.

Ideal Candidate:

  • SMSTS Card.
  • Previous experience working on internal packages on large Residential Sites.
  • Previous experience managing sub-contractors on a Construction Site.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Organised, motivated and strong planning skills.
  • Proven people leadership skills.
