A Specialist Commercial Property Consultancy based in Cambridge are seeking a Building Surveyor / Chartered Building Surveyor with a minimum 2 Private Practice/Consultancy experience to join their expanding Building Consultancy team. This Consultancy who have specialised within the Building Surveying field since they were established over 40 years ago, offer advice at all phases of the property cycle. If you're a Building Surveyor / Chartered Building Surveyor with Private Practice/Consultancy experience, are looking to get away from the Central London commute or simply don't want to be pigeon-holed within a particular Building Surveying niche, then this opportunity is simply ideal. The successful Building Surveyor / Chartered Building Surveyor will be joining a close-knit yet expanding team renowned for their sustained, exceptional Client Service over the years who are currently winning the rights to a variety of Commercial Projects from their broad portfolio of Private Sector clients.

The Role

The successful Building Surveyor / Chartered Building Surveyor will have an extremely varied job role and be given the opportunity to work on a variety of Commercial Properties including offices, retail and industrial. You will also be given a typical 50:50 split between Professional and Project based work

  • Defect Diagnosis
  • Schedules of Condition
  • Reinstatement Cost Assessments
  • Project Monitoring
  • Contract Administration

The Successful Building Surveyor / Chartered Building Surveyor

  • Minimum 2 years Private Practice/Consultancy experience
  • Seeking a balanced Professional/Project based Building Surveying role
  • MSc/BSc in Building Surveying
  • Committed to career progression
  • Strong communication skills both internally and with clients
  • Be self-motivated, ambitious and organised
