Our client is looking for a fantastic Technical Manager to join their existing teams on a number of different sites.It is a chance to work for one of the main residential developers in the UK who have a reputation of delivering large scale, high volume residential developments including new garden towns.

They are looking for a Technical Manager to come work on a combination of stunning 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments and spacious 3, 4 & 5 bedroom executive homes. It will offer an exclusive village lifestyle set amongst landscaped open spaces. It will also include landscaped community spaces, including a pretty village green and central parkland, provide recreation and tranquil views from the development's superb array of family houses and apartments.

Our client is looking for a Technical Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities include;

  • To assist and co-operate with the Land Department in the investigation and acquisition of development sites.
  • To be responsible for the preparation of detailed constructional drawings, the negotiation and securing of technical and statutory approvals to achieve and monitor the optimum timing programmes
  • To be responsible for identifying and resolving technical design and constructional problems
  • To assist in the supervision and administration of the Group Technical function
  • Assist at all times in maintaining a safe working environment within Company workplaces, and applying the Company Health & Safety Policy
Essential and Desirable criteria

Essential:

  • Experience at Technical Manager level or equivalent
  • Experience of managing numerous projects at a time
  • Exposure to mix use/commercial schemes
  • Experience in concrete, steel and traditional masonry build
Desirable:

  • Charter ship in Engineering or Architecture
