Location: South West/Bristol/Midlands
Salary: £22,000-£24,000 Basis, £40,000 OTE

Our client is a specialist distributor of Medical Devices and Diagnostics. They are a SME company who has great partnerships with some of the biggest MD&D manufacturers in the world. From a standing start in 2007, the company has grown at an astonishing rate to reach £5 million turnover this year. Their ambitious plans are to continue growing by over 10% a year. They compete against the like of Johnson and Johnson and consistently win business due to their forward thinking nature and focus on providing ROI to the clients. The sales team are split into two sectors:

- Surgical - Providing high quality products manufactured in the UK for a range of surgical procedures. Their USP in this market is the provision of cost saving responsible products. This means that after surgery, part of the product is reusable and part is discarded. In a tough economic climate, this provides surgeons with a great alternative to expensive disposable products.

- Endo Obesity - Surgery for Obesity (Bariatric Surgery) is one of the fastest growing areas of minimally invasive surgery in the world. The challenges of developing instrumentation and devices for use in Bariatric Surgery are many. Our client has partnered some of the world`s leading instrument and device manufacturers to bring together a portfolio of products that are of the highest quality, the most efficacious and as far as possible, are sold at a price point which is substantially lower than other companies in this market.

The Role - Graduate Account Manager

You will be within the Account Management team. Your main responsibilities will fall within the development of new relationships and farming of existing accounts. The role is field based and requires you to visit both new and existing clients with a view to identifying new opportunities and building existing accounts. You will work closely with a Business Manager within your particular vertical market.

Main Responsibilities:

- To identify new business opportunities
- To farm existing account and maximise potential revenue
- To locate key decision makers and build relationships
- To present and market the business concept to organisations throughout the UK
- To cold call and have the ability to close business
- To locate and manage tender opportunities
- To attend face-to-face meetings
- To report weekly sales projections
- To manage and be responsible for new business development
