Xero is beautiful accounting software for small businesses. We're growing our team and need new Customer Experience Specialists to help us support customers from our UK HQ in Milton Keynes starting in January.

What is CX?

CX is our fantastic customer care team, made up of Xero product experts (don't worry, you'll get extensive training to transform you into a guru) based in the UK, NZ, AU and US. We work together to provide 24/7 accounting software support to users.

We're looking for people with experience in accounting, finance and customer-facing jobs. Our team is diverse and eclectic, but one thing we have in common is our passion for good customer service. You'll be looking for every opportunity to delight our customers with your problem solving skills, in-depth knowledge and caring approach.

Where you fit in

As a CX specialist you'll investigate and respond to email accounting queries from our customers - they might have hit a snag with our software or may need walking through a solution.

We aim to give each customer prompt, helpful and easy-to-understand information to help them resolve their issue. Most of our responses are by email but occasionally, when the situation calls for a human voice, your verbal communication skills will help to explain a complex answer over the phone.

This will sound a lot like you.

- Part or full accounting qualification and / or bookkeeping experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Fast learner, comfortable with technology and keen to become a Xero expert
- Exposure to business accounting systems
- Outstanding communicator - both verbal and written
- Full of initiative with the ability to self-manage
- Problem solver who takes pride in resolving tricky customer queries
- Good humoured, positive and upbeat team player

Exposure to Xero or other accounting systems is advantageous and AAT or BSc qualification is highly desirable.
