Graduate Product Developer

Graduate entry level Product Developer/Tester - Birmingham based - Cutting edge Risk and Compliance software projects - Get into Banking and financial software!

Do you have excellent Excel and MS Access skills?

Comfortable using VBA and SQL?

Able to grasp unfamiliar concepts quickly?

Lombard Risk is a leading global provider of regulatory reporting and collateral management solutions, we are looking to fill a number of Graduate entry level Product Developers/Testers on an initial 12 month contract (with a view to a more permanent position) you will be joining a new team of technical experts supporting a number of exciting development projects for some of the world's largest financial organisations.

As part of the team you will be creating product configuration packages for use within our AgileREPORTER platform, based on the formats published by a regulatory authority. A product consists of Excel templates, an Access database of metadata and XML mappings.

You will also support the preparation of test cases, test data and perform testing and quality assurance of the completed product.

These roles are based in our new 'state of the art' purpose built development centre in the heart of Birmingham. These positions focus on creating and maintaining cutting edge award winning Risk and Compliance software.

In this position you will have the opportunity to expand and improve your skill sets in many advanced areas of IT Risk and Compliance, full training and support will be provided. We are committed to making you as successful as possible.

For this role we are looking for candidates who have a passion for IT, a solid understanding of VBA, SQL and or Oracle and good Excel skills.

Banking and finance experience is preferred (internship or work experience is fine) but don't be put off from applying if you don't we are looking for the best of the best so if you are comfortable using VBA and SQL from another industry or at school or University do get in touch, passion for development and all things technical is important and we will support you with training on our products.

It is important to ensure developers have the most modern workstations and we provide a modest budget for all developers/testers to customize their workstation or purchase peripherals as required.
