Our client is based in Birmingham and they are looking to recruit a Project Controls Manager on a permanent basis paying circa £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.

We are looking for a Project Controls Manager to work on HS2 civil enabling works project. The successful candidate needs to have a minimum of 3 year experience in Project Controls, APM certification or similar, P6 and NEC Contract skills.

The candidate will be managing a team of 5 people approx

Role responsibilities:

- Responsible for the establishment and operation of project controls in accordance with the contract requirements.
- Responsible for the implementation of the Project Controls Plan and for ensuring compliance with Client Project Controls requirements for the purpose of project performance analysis and reporting and cost / programme integration.
- Liaise with the commercial / finance teams to establish systems and processes to record cost and value progress.
- Liaise with the Planner in the preparation of first programme for acceptance, updated monthly Programme and cost / value reporting.
- Liaise with the Commercial team to establish processes to record the early warning and change management status
- Responsible for the collation and validation of information required for internal reporting.
- Responsible for the collation of data, production and submission of the monthly report to the Client.
- Liaise with the different Disciplines Managers in the preparation of updated Monthly Performance Data Report

Skills/ Experience Required:

- Skills in PRISM or CEMAR are welcome
- Minimum 3 years experience in Project Controls, APM certification or similar, P6 and NEC Contract skills.
