A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to work within a successful & growing manufacturing company in a fast developing market.

Our Client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Projects Manager to join the contract team to ensure the delivery of multiple projects on time within budget and scope.

Project managers should have a background in business skills, construction, management, budgeting and analysis.

The successful candidate will:
- To ensure that our clients receive exceptional standards of customer service
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Coordinate relevant Factory Acceptance Tests
- Ensure that all allocated projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Develop and manage site specific IRAMs and Construction Phase Plans as required
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Establish a system of project status reporting to management and to develop and manage detailed project plans to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

An ideal Project Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:

- HNC/HND or Degree Engineering
- Proven experience in fields of M&E installation, civils & construction or similar
- Strong working knowledge of CDM / NEC3 contracting
- Proven working experience as a project administrator in associated industries
- Solid working background with a minimum of 5 years Project Management pedigree
- Attributes to include strong communication, customer focus and organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent decision making and problem solving abilities
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills, with ability to perform well under pressure
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (proficient in Microsoft Project)
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is desirable
