Develop the product portfolio to meet the needs of UK/RoI consumer within all aspects of the agreed product lines to build market share profitably in volume and value in each key operating product category.
Monitor and report on weekly and monthly sales results vs. budget and strategic projects by volume/gross margin.
Weekly management of pricing (trade price lists and NSVs) to deliver required margin mix.
Weekly communication via critical path document to inform the sales team and other marketing resource on key product and market introductions, actions and developments.
Preparation, implementation and execution of the UK/RoI budgets/strategic projects. To include regular reviews/gap analysis at monthly planning meetings.
Liaise effectively with key stakeholders to ensure the timely introduction of new product ranges.
Develop internal critical path documentation.
Issue product specification sheets, bar codes, energy label data, packaging, waste data etc. and the updating of PI Web.
Conduct market analysis, competitor analysis, product analysis and benchmarking.
Work with Trade Marketing Managers/Sales Teams to deliver effective planning and control of sales promotion calendars / forecasts during monthly planning meetings.
Management of both consumer and trade product enquiries.
High degree of computer literacy, to include advanced skills using MS Excel (inc. pivot tables for budget control and analysis) and Powerpoint for effective customer presentations.
Planning and detailed process management to ensure effective sell through of a mixed portfolio of products.
Excellent organisational skills and able to work largely unsupervised. Effectively prioritises use of time and resources in order to meet deadlines and changing business priorities. Focuses on what matters most.
