IT Sales Account Executive – Private Enterprise

£50,000 - £60,000 OTE

We are now looking to recruit an IT Sales Account Executive to join our team in Birmingham, and work with Private Enterprise.

The Role
As our IT Sales Account Executive, you will have an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and growing IT Services, Solutions and Procurement provider. You will be expected to:

  • Secure profitable new business
  • Generate additional business from existing accounts
  • Target the private sector (customers with >200 employees) and sell IT hardware, services and solutions from a broad portfolio of offerings
  • Work closely with our Pre-sales and sales specialists and other colleagues in a highly collaborative environment to identify opportunities, close deals and deliver solutions

The Candidate
To be considered for our IT Sales Account Executive role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Have a strong understanding of the IT B2B sales industry and proven experience of strategically selling IT hardware, services and solutions to the enterprise sector
  • An understanding of the IT sales lifecycle from customer reviews through to delivery and support
  • A proven ability to identify sales opportunities and progress through to close, whilst using initiative to cross and upsell
  • Be comfortable attending nationwide client meetings to secure new business and develop existing relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills at all multiple levels
  • An understanding of sales strategy, target setting and forecasting
  • A commitment to customer service excellence
  • Must be a proactive self-starter with ambition and drive to succeed
  • Must have the ability to promote business through networking events and tradeshows
  • Able to monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
  • Analytical skills to include data recording, analyse, reporting and detailed gap analyses
