This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team of architectural consultants who specialise in providing outstanding Health and Safety guidance and advice, to a range of their clients within both the public and private sectors.
This is a role for a Principal Designer services looking for a Principal Designer under CDM 2015.
We are looking for a Principal Designer/Health & Safety specialist with a background in Architecture to grow this part of the business. Ideally we are looking for a Principal Designer/H&S specialist with experience of both construction and design as 75% of the scrutiny is pre-construction.
Ideal candidates will be members of the Association of Project Safety (APS) however this is not essential as membership will be sponsored by the employer for the right candidate.
- Construction and / or Design qualification and professional membership
- Training qualification particularly delivering IOSH e.g. Managing Safely and/or APS e.g. CDM, PD and/or CITB courses e.g. SMSTS, SSSTS, H&S Awareness etc
- H&S management system auditing with OHSAS 18001 Auditor/Lead auditor status desirable NVQ Assessor up to Level 5/6
- Experience in carrying out Fire Safety Audits/Fire Safety Risk Assessments
