Our client is a leading specialist in the consruction industry. They are looking for an experienced and hardworking individual to join their exciting and growing sales team.

Main Duties:

  • Provide a client focused first point of contact for the Venues and Corporate Accounts teams
  • Track individual client journeys to ensure a streamlined service from initial brief through to confirmation
  • Follow up lead generation activities via telephone marketing
  • Engage with clients and follow up with them directly to secure the business
  • Ensure all client enquiries are responded to by a knowledgeable team member within 24 hours
  • Qualify enquiries prior to quote referral to ensure priority is given to jobs from premium clients or with high revenue and/or potential margin
  • Refer jobs to appropriate Production Manager/Producer according to the expertise required and current distribution of workload
  • Follow up allocated enquiries with Production Managers/Producers to ensure timely quotes are provided, and to step in with client liaison where necessary
  • Track production team workload and the number of enquiries, anticipating resourcing shortfalls and liaising with GM to secure additional resources/freelancers when required
  • Build on-going relationships with key clients who will drive profitable revenue streams
  • Liaise with clients proactively to investigate and identify why business is being lost or cancelled
  • Achieve targeted conversion rates.


  • Proven track record in outbound telemarketing
  • Proven track record in client handling, via telephone, email and face-to-face
  • Outstanding client handling skills including the capability to close sales
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including influencing and assertiveness
  • Excellent commercial acumen, recognising opportunities to grow the business
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, positive team player
  • Highly organised
  • Proactive relationship builder, comfortable liaising at all levels internally and externally
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn and assimilate new software
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, such as Salesforce, Events Perfect or similar, an advantage
