Finance and Client Executive
The Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) represents approximately 500 member organisations providing consultancy and engineering services in the built and natural environment. Members include organisations involved in many of the world’s most challenging and spectacular infrastructure projects. ACE has spearheaded a series of high profile campaigns in recent years and constantly engages with Government Ministers and Industry leaders to ensure their members are effectively represented.
Key responsibilities for the role include:·Organise subscription billings and payment collection;·Organise direct debit and subscription collections;·Input invoices in the SAGE accounting system and ensure the data maintains its integrity;·Undertake credit control and billing activities;·Support sales of publication orders and respond to publication enquiries;·Maintain and update accurate membership details;Candidates should possess relevant experience together with good working knowledge of SAGE and finance systems. Excellent numeracy, communication and IT skills are pre-requisites.
JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary of role·To support ACE Group (ACE, EIC and VSC) finance activities; ·To support ACE Group (ACE and EIC) membership administration activities;·To support on overall Group (ACE, EIC and VSC) credit control support activities;·To work with ACE Group senior management staff and key industry stakeholders in developing and delivering business enhancement services to members;·To support ACE Group objectives as required.
Responsibilities·Organise subscription billings and payment collection;·Organise direct debit and subscription collections;·Assist with subscriptions queries and clarifications;·Input invoices in the SAGE accounting system and ensure the data maintains its integrity;·Undertake ACE Group credit control and billing activities;·Support sales of publication orders and respond to publication enquiries;·Provide back up support to the Group Financial Controller;·Actively use ACE Group’s CRM system as a tool for recording, monitoring and updating subscription and other payment records; ·Maintain and develop accurate membership database;·Update member details as required; ·Monitor and fix all data anomalies in their order of priority;·Assist with finance and membership enquiries; ·Coordinate all member administration and act as first point of contact for all support enquiries;·Support the Group Financial Controller in planning and management of the Executive Finance Group (EFG);·Support the Group Financial Controller in development of Board and EFG reporting;·Responsible for planning and managing membership development group meetings.Person specification·Degree level qualification or relevant experience;·Good working knowledge of SAGE;·Good working knowledge of finance systems;·Previous experience of using customer relationship management (CRM) system is essential; ·Ability to organise, prioritise and schedule work assignments;·Good written and oral communication skills;·Good IT skills and working knowledge of using Microsoft software packages including database systems;·Demonstrate the ability to respond to queries in a timely fashion;·Demonstrate attention to detail and to accurately input information;·Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive, professional attitude;·Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders;·Ability to work in a team and to manage own workload;·A willingness to learn and develop in the role.
