Minimum Requirement

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification and experience
  • Chartered or member of a relevant organisation
  • Civil engineering project experience in Highways and Structures
  • NEC3 option A & B contract experience

The Project

You will have the opportunity to work on a large 10 year highways framework contract, acting as the Main Contractor undertaking highways bridges & structures work.

The Role

Reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral member of the team managing a large highways framework contract.

Predominantly working post contract, you will be responsible for all areas of Quantity Surveying, including but not limited to: sub-contract procurement, applications for payment; reviewing contract deliverables, valuations, cost management, preparing monthly reports, producing take offs, through to final accounts.

The contract will be managed under NEC option A &B.

You will also act as trainer and mentor for Junior members of staff.

The Person

As the ideal candidate you will have previous Quantity Surveying experience, especially with highways experience.

Chartered or working towards chartership

Though a commercially related degree would be advantageous, it is not essential.

Previous NEC contract experience is essential
