Customer Service Manager
Customer Service Manager, St. Albans, £32,000 + Excellent Benefits Package
Our client, an established family run company within the hospitality industry, are recruiting for a Customer Service Manager to lead their Reservations team. In this role you will be responsible for a team of 10 who handle bookings across all of the venue’s different departments.
PLEASE NOTE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE CANDIDATES MUST HAVE TEAM MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE WITHIN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY.
·Ensure that the department maximises bookings for all areas of the business
·Responsible for achieving Revenue targets across multiple areas of the business
·Ensure the customer telephone experience is to a high standard at all times
·Ensure that Departmental Training is completed and Training records are updated
·Create staff rotas to ensure appropriate staff cover for the department on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly holiday planning basis
Key Skills / Experience:
·Previous experience managing and training a telephone based reservations team within the hotel industry is essential
·Strong knowledge and understanding of cross selling and up selling techniques
·Ability to cope well under pressure
