Job Summary

  • Develop the CRM strategy across email, SMS and direct mail.
  • Develop engaging, impactful and personal campaigns that drive retention and loyalty to meet commercial objectives.
  • Develop the acquisition strategy across email and direct mail.
  • Work with senior management and team to raise the profile of CRM within the business.
  • Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • End to end responsibility of lifecycle campaigns including; segmentation, welcome and re-engagement programs.
  • Gather strategic insights to inform CRM strategy in terms of campaign generation and existing campaign improvement.
  • Identify and select target groups for campaign initiatives and create Global testing plans to determine the optimal combination for activity, to include offer, timing, creative etc
  • Analyse existing customer behaviours and identify key customer moments when CRM communications should be executed.
  • Develop and brief creative copy and concepts to creative team for design.
  • Work with data houses to develop and execute global cold mailing plans.
  • Report on performance to senior management.
  • Manage team and external agencies.

  • Knowledge of databases and email platforms.

  • Good communicator.
  • Forward planner and highly organised.
  • Previous experience in an online, retail environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Fast Stats campaign management tool would be an advantage.

  • Utilises leaderships skills and motivation techniques to maximise employee performance and satisfaction.
  • Monitors the team’s overall service and team work daily and identifies and implements strategies to increase service delivery/productivity.

  • Leads by example in all work related activities, acting as a role model for employees.
  • Proactively delivers job related training for all department members.
  • Health & Safety

  • Ensures that all employees within department work in a safe manner.
  • Fully understands the fire, emergency and health & safety procedures of the workplace.
  • Ensures that all potential and real hazards are taken care of immediately, and are reported appropriately.
  • Works in a safe and responsible manner, within the framework of legislation and workplace specific policies.
  • Miscellaneous

  • Is an ambassador for the brand.
  • Attends training, meetings and other events as requested by direct manager or senior management, including Head of Human Resources.
  • Assists colleagues by completing tasks outside own job role when requested, including supporting associated companies.
  • Maintains own working area in a professional and organised manner.
  • Always strives to improve the department’s operation and increase knowledge of own and related job functions.
