Senior Accounts Assistant
Accounts Assistant required for an exciting permanent opportunity based in Walsall. This is a key position for the company, you will be assisting the Finance Manager with all around accounts up to trial balance stage including sales ledger, cash allocation, purchase ledger, statement reconciliations, expenses, VAT, pre payments and fixed assets. You will also be required to take ownership of company insurances and claims for buildings and vehicles etc. This is a senior role, so please only apply if you have the relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified, available for a January start and have strong Excel skills to include having used pivot tables up to macro level. This is a varied and challenging role and month end experience would be useful coupled with some management accounts experience. All round accounts experience is essential as you will be solely responsible for it and experience of using a computerised accounts package is essential.
My client is a rapidly expanding construction business who offer a relaxed and friendly working environment, on site parking, pension and 22 days annual leave per annum. The working hours are 8:30 - 5 Monday to Friday.
