LawsonKeys are working with a well-known Architectural Consultancy to source an Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist for a permanent job in Birmingham. As the Architectural Technician you will be working on commercial or residential projects.
Working with a well-known and well established Architectural Practice based in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. The company are currently working on some exciting projects in a variety of sectors. Predominantly commercial and residential. The company are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join their passionate and innovative team on a permanent basis.
You will be part of a medium sized team that work on particular projects together. Your role will include producing working and detailed drawing packages for a variety of construction stages. You will be have a solid technical background with a portfolio to prove. You will predominantly be using AutoCAD however some projects it will be necessary for you to use REVIT. Experience in REVIT is desirable however not essential and training will be provided.
For this position you need to be able to:
-Produce Detailed construction drawing packages
-Be proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT
-Have experience in running and managing projects
-Planning applications and have knowledge of UK Building Regulations
