Category Manager / Category Controller / Buyer (Retail / FMCG)

Location: West Midlands or South Wales (Commutable from Birmingham, Stourbridge, Dudley, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Pontypridd, Cardiff, Barry and surrounding area’s)
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week, 9am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday
Salary: circa £50K + company car / car allowance

In this role, you will be negotiating with a range of suppliers, whilst managing and developing supplier relationships. You’ll deliver annual sales, profit and supplier income in line with agreed budgets and interpret market research activity, recommending any improvements that could be made.
The Category Manager / Buyer will devote time to agreeing Joint Business & Promotional Plans, including the control of product pricing.
To be considered for this role you will be required to hold a full UK drivers licence as well has having experience of category management or buying experience with grocery / retail or FMCG market place. Any experience of managing drink categories would be highly desirable but is not essential.
