Hays are currently working in partnership with a leading services company in order to assist them in the recruitment of an experienced sales ledger clerk.

This stable and reputable company will provide a friendly working environment with a varied job role.

Key Accountabilities:

* To complete general admin duties, and deliver accurate, timely completion of ledgers to meet monthly deadlines.
* Supporting Sales Ledger Supervisor with adhoc projects
* To take responsibility for VAT, penalties and Mondial Sales Ledger Accounts
* Ensuring accurate production of month end reporting for VAT, penalties and Mondial Ledger
* Producing invoices
* Dealing with invoicing queries in an effective timely manner
* Housekeeping of in-house database (Credit Control Logs CCL) and Sun Systems
* Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and
responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers
* To send out all relevant letter for overdue claims
* Chasing payments by phone
* Any other adhoc duties required within Sales Ledger
* Observing and complying with Data Protection Policies (DPL)
* Observing and complying with Health and Safety Policies
