Location: Manchester City Centre – Spinningfields

Salary: £22,000- £26,000 basic, £35K OTE (1st Year) + Benefits

My client is a Global Solutions provider in a highly lucrative sector who specialise in offering cutting edge technologies within their specialist area of the market.They currently seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to be part of an exciting business working with innovative solutions made to meet the demands of the ever evolving market place, this company has the global resources and capabilities to offer unrivalled services and a niche solutions portfolio.

The role offers a great balance involving generating leads and opportunities within an existing account base across the UK. You will be working as part of an account management team to manage existing account relationships to increase penetration into those identified accounts through strategic account management; whilst researching organisations and markets to develop new areas of opportunities within the account base.

Responsibilities

·To find additional titles, key contacts for other divisions, sister companies etc that we can expand our services into for your fixed account base

·Over the phone, build relationships and set meetings

·Source, qualify and validate opportunity and set meetings up for an external account manager to meet with the clients

·To work with the external facing account managers to produce both strategic and account plans for a fixed account base

·Work within an account team to assist in co-ordinating key personnel within Web performance to meet and exceed a customer’s expectation in delivering our services

·To work effectively across, pre-sales, consultancy and management personnel in the sales cycle to ensure customer management and growth targets are met

·To foster positive business relationships with-in Web performance and other divisions

·To maintain & present accurate sales forecasts on a monthly & quarterly basis

The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience working as a Business Development Manager/Account Manager – preferably within (B2B) IT telephone Sales environment with experience selling either SaaS or managed service’s to ecommerce, marketing or IT. You will have solid communication and articulation skills and a high level of competency in Word, Outlook and Excel.
