Job Title: Field based BD Manager – Legal industry
Hours: Full time
Location: South of England
Salary: Negotiable up to £37,000 DOE. OTE’s £60,000 per annum
We are currently working with an award winning, nationally established legal services firm who are actively seeking a new Business Development Manager to join their team ASAP. This role will be to cover the South of England however there will be a requirement to attend the Company’s Head Office in West Yorkshire at least once a week/fortnight (expenses paid).
Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development; your role will be to facilitate in the continuous growth and expansion. Working with Law firms across your region, the successful candidate will be required to develop the full range of the legal services the company has to offer.
Working collaboratively with all partners and key stakeholders, the key duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
·Management of panel law firms and external third party suppliers to ensure relationships are maintained and both quality and service standards are met
·Identifying and generating new business opportunities
·Retention of existing business – attending regular service meetings (account management)
·Providing reports, management information and data analysis as required
·Assist with the development of an approved sales strategy and execute this effectively to ensure that the Company meets the objectives of outlined in its business plan
·Attending industry conferences, events, seminars and exhibitions were necessary
·Experience in sales in a legal environment is essential
·Able to provide and demonstrate a strong track record of sales figures and achievements
·Ability to confidently communicate at Board level
·Experience in building relationships with senior partners/Directors within Law firms - essential
·Experience of key account management, specifically identifying, building and maintaining relationships within a customer focused professional services environment
·Experience of generating own B2B leads
·Full clean UK Driving licence
