Assistant F&B Manager required for Conference & Events Department of a Leisure Centre in South Manchester, £17,000!

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to make their mark by putting their stamp on this exciting project. A leading South Manchester Leisure Centre requires an enthusiastic and talented Manager for a brand new role within the site, assisting the F&B Manager in all aspects of Food and Beverage operations. This is position that has been created with the purpose of development to F&B Manager for this rapidly expanding company.


You will be responsible for assisting the F&B Manager with the smooth and effective running of all food and beverage operations on a daily basis. There is a keen emphasis on setting up new menus, job role specifications, training manuals and establishing targets and KPI's that encompass the company philosophy of being a strong support to the community whilst maintaining a consistently achieving , positive and happy work environment. You will help ensure all F&B operations are in line with company guidelines, policies and procedures. You will also have some responsibility for not only maintaining but enhancing relationships with guests and clients, and creating strong links with the local community.


At least 2 years experience in a similar role would be desirable. A sound knowledge of best F&B practices along with local knowledge of competitors and the community are also key. Some experience in a chef role would also be beneficial.Above all else you will be able to demonstrate your ability to help train and motivate your team, whilst having the required personality and charisma to represent the company and interact with guests and customers at every level.


You will have a starting salary of £17,000, with consistent performance reviews.The holiday entitlement for this role is 30 days rising to 35 days after 5 years of service. Uniform is provided, and there is a contributory pension scheme.There are additional company benefits related to being part of a leisure group. There is also free parking on site.
