Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a market leading Services Business based in Central Birmingham.

Sheridan Maine is thrilled to share a fantastic opportunity that is on offer at a market leading Services Business. In this diverse Business you will be overseeing day to day functions and will act as a key Business Partner. 

The Role
As the Financial Controller your duties will be to produce management accounts including detailed analysis, preparing budgets, forecasts and financial analysis. 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the production of Management Accounts
  • Providing detailed modelling for the Business
  • Analysing financial performance - contributing to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts
  • Liase with key Advisors for the business
  • Preparing periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts etc
  • Annual Audit pack presentation and liaison

Person specification
The ideal candidate will be driven to succeed with ambition to help the business grow in the future. Requirements include;
  • Fully Qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
  • Experience of being in a Client Facing role
  • Excellent communication skills and people management skills
  • Excellent IT skills with Advanced excel knowledge
